Coronavirus update: Further rise in NHS Grampian daily case numbers

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 2762 positive cases of coronavirus which equates to 8.2 per cent of those tested overall.

Amongst these newly reported cases NHS Greater Glasgow recorded 481 cases and NHS Lothian 406 cases.

NHS Grampian saw 363 cases while NHS Highland recorded 125 cases.

In the seven days to October 11, Aberdeenshire saw 1002 cases (384.2 per 100,000), Aberdeen City 589 (257.1 per 100,000) and Moray 312 (316.0 per 100,000).

32 new deaths were recorded in Scotland with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

To date in Scotland more than 4,278,937 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination and over 3,873,790 people have received their second dose.
