Coronavirus update: Figures stabilising after mid-week rise

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 3090 positive cases of coronavirus which equates to 9.3 per cent of those tested overall.

Amongst these newly reported cases NHS Greater Glasgow recorded 590 cases and NHS Lothian 515 cases.

NHS Grampian saw 228 cases while NHS Highland recorded 178 cases.

In the seven days to November 15 Aberdeenshire saw 968 cases (371.2 per 100,000), Aberdeen City 1072 (468.0 per 100,000) and Moray 549 (573.6 per 100,000).

19 new deaths were recorded in Scotland with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

To date in Scotland more than 4,335,881 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination and over 3,935,095 people have received their second dose and 1,342,841 have received a third dose or booster.
