Coronavirus update: Fall in north-east cases is being sustained

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 2177 positive cases of coronavirus which equates to 9.3 per cent of those tested overall.

Amongst these newly reported cases NHS Greater Glasgow recorded 461 cases and NHS Lothian 371 cases.

NHS Grampian saw 176 cases while NHS Highland recorded 98 cases.

In the seven days to November 25 Aberdeenshire saw 919 cases (352.4 per 100,000), Aberdeen City 938 (409.5 per 100,000) and Moray 453 (473.3 per 100,000).

No new deaths were recorded in Scotland with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

To date in Scotland more than 4,344,985 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination and over 3,946,514 people have received their second dose and 1,629,572 have received a third dose or booster.
