Coronavirus update: Fall in cases being maintained

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 2233 positive cases of coronavirus which equates to 12.0 per cent of those tested overall.

Amongst these newly reported cases NHS Greater Glasgow recorded 338 cases and NHS Lothian 355 cases.

NHS Grampian saw 224 cases while NHS Highland recorded 131 cases.

In the seven days to November 5, Aberdeenshire saw 905 cases (347.0 per 100,000), Aberdeen City 809 (353.2 per 100,000) and Moray 354 (369.9 per 100,000).

20 new deaths were recorded in Scotland with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

To date in Scotland more than 4,324,440 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination and over 3,918,528 people have received their second dose.
