Coronavirus update: Decrease in NHS Grampian cases

Scotland saw 655 positive cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours a decrease from the previous day's total of 715.
This equated to 4.8 per cent of those tested (6.6 the previous day).
A total of 56 new deaths were noted in the last 24 hours with Covid as a contributing factor.
The NHS Greater Glasgow area saw 198 cases (246), Lanarkshire 128 (117) and Lothian 123 (140).
NHS Grampian saw 12 cases (34) while NHS Highland saw 14 (17).
The NHS Grampian area recorded 227 cases in the last seven days taking the overall total to 13,338.
Public Health Scotland's most up to date figures cover the seven days between February 14 and February 20 and show Aberdeenshire recorded 92 cases (up from 83 the previous day) which equated to 2.1 per cent of all tests carried out (up from 2.0 per cent) and a positive test rate of 35.2 per 100,000 population of (up from 31.8).
For the same time period, Aberdeen City saw 55 cases (down from 61) equating to 1.4 per cent of all tests (down from 1.6 per cent) and positive test rate of 24.1 per 100,000 (down from 26.7).
In the daily area figures case numbers the higher case numbers in Aberdeenshire were in Ellon West and Mearns and Laurencekirk. In the city they were recorded in the Summerhill area.
