Coronavirus update: Daily cases start levelling off

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 2823 positive cases of coronavirus which equates to 7.2 per cent of those tested overall.
Amongst these newly reported cases NHS Greater Glasgow recorded 460 cases and NHS Lothian 381 cases.
NHS Grampian saw 299 cases while NHS Highland recorded 221 cases.
In the seven days to October 31, Aberdeenshire saw 1122 cases (430.2 per 100,000), Aberdeen City 757 (330.5 per 100,000) and Moray 296 (309.3 per 100,000).

To date in Scotland more than 4,321,770 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination and over 3,911,823 people have received their second dose (this figure has not been updated in the last 24 hours due to a data issue).
