Coronavirus update: Daily cases see a moderate rise

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 5513 positive cases of coronavirus recorded from PCR and LFD testing.

NHS Glasgow recorded 1052 combined tests and NHS Lothian 1002.

NHS Grampian saw 566 while NHS Highland recorded 353 positive tests in total.

28 new deaths recorded with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

In the seven days to April 10, Aberdeenshire saw 1647 positive tests (631.6 per 100,000), Aberdeen City 1378 (601.6 per 100,000) and Moray 662 (691.7 per 100,000).

To date in Scotland more than 4,378,301 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination, over 4,099,990 people have received their second dose, 3,462,141 have had a third booster dose and 196,609 have had a fourth dose.
