Coronavirus update: Daily cases level off again across the country

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 4196 positive cases of coronavirus recorded from PCR and LFD testing.

NHS Glasgow recorded 880 combined tests and NHS Lothian 742.

NHS Grampian saw 389 while NHS Highland recorded 303 positive tests in total.

40 new deaths recorded with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

In the seven days to April 10, Aberdeenshire saw 1375 positive tests (600.3 per 100,000), Aberdeen City 1638 (628.6 per 100,000) and Moray 636 (664.5 per 100,000).

To date in Scotland more than 4,379,016 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination, over 4,100,467 people have received their second dose, 3,463,108 have had a third booster dose and 211,711 have had a fourth dose
