Coronavirus update: Daily cases continue to see a fall in the north-east

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 3618 positive cases of coronavirus recorded from PCR and LFD testing.

NHS Glasgow recorded 731 combined tests and NHS Lothian 584.

NHS Grampian saw 425 while NHS Highland recorded 216 positive tests in total.

Six new deaths recorded with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

In the seven days to April 16, Aberdeenshire saw 1436 positive tests (550.7 per 100,000), Aberdeen City 1144 (499.4 per 100,000) and Moray 484 (561.4 per 100,000).

To date in Scotland more than 4,382,469 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination, over 4,102,561 people have received their second dose, 3,466,302 have had a third booster dose and 196,609 have had a fourth dose.
