Coronavirus update: Aberdeenshire's cases at levels last seen prior to the spike at the end of August

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 2010 positive cases of coronavirus which equates to 13.5 per cent of those tested overall.

There is however a warning issued by Public Health Scotland that a backlog of cases are in the system and yet to be reported.

Amongst these newly reported cases NHS Greater Glasgow recorded 295 cases and NHS Lothian 303 cases.

NHS Grampian saw 251 cases while NHS Highland recorded 89 cases.

In the seven days to October 30, Aberdeenshire saw 1209 cases (463.6 per 100,000), Aberdeen City 766 (334.4 per 100,000) and Moray 303 (316.6 per 100,000).

To date in Scotland more than 4,320,370 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination and over 3,910,253 people have received their second dose.
