Scotland saw 1121 positive cases in the last 24 hours an increase from the previous day's total of 773.
This equated to 5.2 per cent of those tested (6.0 the previous day).
A total of 64 new deaths were noted in the last 24 hours with Covid as a contributing factor.
The NHS Greater Glasgow area saw 290 cases (252), Lanarkshire 230 (126) and Lothian 181 (139).
NHS Grampian saw 53 cases (27) while NHS Highland saw 26 (13).
The NHS Grampian area recorded 251 cases in the last seven days taking the overall total to 13,177.
Public Health Scotland's most up to date figures cover the seven days between February 8 and February 14 and show Aberdeenshire recorded 102 cases (down from 115 the previous day) which equated to 2.5 per cent of all tests carried out (down from 2.8 per cent) and a positive test rate of 39.0 per 100,000 population of (down from 44.0).
For the same time period, Aberdeen City saw 78 cases (down from 82) equating to 2.1 per cent of all tests (down from 2.3 per cent) and positive test rate of 34.1 per 100,000 (down from 35.9).
In the daily area figures higher case numbers were only seen predominantly in the Westhill and Garlogie areas.
