Coronavirus update: 270 news cases in Scotland

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 270 positive cases which equates to 1.2 per cent of those tested overall.

NHS Greater Glasgow saw 138 cases, NHS Lanarkshire 39, NHS Fife 27 and NHS Lothian 26.

NHS Grampian saw seven new cases while NHS Highland also recorded two cases.

In the seven days to May 10 there were 33 new cases in Aberdeenshire (12.6 per 100,000), 50 in Aberdeen City (21.9 per 100,000) and 94 in Moray (98.1 per 100,000).

Sadly one death was recorded in Scotland with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

To date in Scotland over 2,968,169 people have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination and over 1,551,339 people have received their second dose.
