Coronavirus update: 263 new cases in Grampian yesterday

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 2902 positive cases of coronavirus which equates to 8.8 per cent of those tested overall.

Amongst these newly reported cases NHS Greater Glasgow recorded 574 cases and NHS Lothian 438 cases.

NHS Grampian saw 263 cases while NHS Highland recorded 174 cases.

In the seven days to October 19, Aberdeenshire saw 852 cases (326.7 per 100,000), Aberdeen City 592 (258.4 per 100,000) and Moray 281 (93.6 per 100,000).

There were 19 new deaths recorded in Scotland with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

To date in Scotland more than 4,299,649 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination and over 3,888,408 people have received their second dose.
