Coronavirus update: 1139 new cases in Aberdeenshire this week

In Scotland in the last 24 hours there have been a total of 4024 positive cases of coronavirus which equates to eight per cent of those tested overall.

Amongst these newly reported cases NHS Greater Glasgow recorded 927 cases, NHS Lanarkshire 571, and NHS Lothian 561 cases.

NHS Grampian saw 420 cases while NHS Highland recorded 154 cases.

In the seven days to September 20, Aberdeenshire saw 1139 cases (436.8 per 100,000), Aberdeen City 871 (380.2 per 100,000) and Moray 198 (206.9 per 100,000).

37 new deaths have been recorded in Scotland with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

To date in Scotland more than 4,166,056 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination and over 3,818,428 people have received their second dose.
