Portsoy concert will feature Elgin-based singer songwriter Alyson MacConnachie





A community folk group is set to host a special evening of songs.

Portsoy's Folk at the Salmon Bothy will welcome Elgin-based singer songwriter Alyson MacConnachie, accompanied by her husband Neil, on Friday, March 21.

The couple will be delivering two 30-minute extended sets of songs from Mary Black.

Mary has been one of Ireland’s most popular female singers and was part of the celebrated Woman's Heart tour.

Open floor spots for performers will also be available on the evening.

The event takes place at the Salmon Bothy in Portsoy, with entry from 7pm. Admission is £5 on the door and all are welcome.
