Your weekly round-up of events taking place across the north-east.

Inverurie - Easter Dinner takes place a the Gospel Hall on Friday, March 24 from 6.30pm - 8.30pm.

All are welcomed to a free Easter themed meal with crafting and a quiz, along with a seasonal reflection - to attend call 07808 472841.

Clatt - Clatt Old Kirk Spring Tea takes place at Clatt Village Hall on Saturday, March 18 from 1pm -3pm.

Afternoon tea is priced at £4 per head.

Turriff - Are we nearly there yet? - a talk by Bruce Keith on Scottish Milestones takes place at the Municipal Building on Wednesday, March 22 at 2pm. Price £5 including refreshments.

Ellon - 2nd Ellon guides are hosting a coffee evening Tuesday, March 21 to raise money for their unit.

The coffee evening will begin at 6.30pm and will be wrapped up by 8pm.

There will also be stalls with some bakes and items to sell with a donation at the door for entry.

Kemnay - Kemnay Movie Night returns on Saturday, March 18 at Kemnay Village Hall where there will be a showing of The Banshees of Inisherin (15) at 7.30pm - entry by donations.

Turriff - Turriff and District Gardening Club AGM takes place on Wednesday, March 22 at 2.30pm at St Andrew's Church Hall with a talk by Ruth Wardle on the gardens at Castle Fraser.

New Deer - Come along to New Deer Public Hall next Friday, March 24 to watch I Wanna Dance with Somebody (12A).

Bring your own bottle and nibbles, soft drinks & ice cream will be on sale with tickets available from Webster’s Pharmacy New Deer and Food For Thought Deli.

Udny - The 1st Udny Boy's Brigade annual pancake morning takes place this Saturday morning from 10am til' noon in the Udny Green Hall.

Turriff - Turriff Playgroup will hold a fundraising coffee morning at the Legion on Saturday, March 18 from 10am -noon - Adults £2.50/Children £1.

Glendronach - Glendronach Distillery is hosting an open day on Saturday, March 18 in aid of Alzheimers Scotland from 10.30am - 4.30pm.

Tours run from 10.30 - 3pm with refreshments, fly cups and fine pieces available.

Barthol Chapel - The Kirk is due to close in June and a meeting has been planned for March 20 at 7.30pm in the Kirk to help decide the future of the building to which all are welcomed.

Monymusk - The next film on show is Living (12) starring Bill Nighy at the Village Hall - doors open at 7pm with the film at 7.30pm.

Inverurie - Inverurie Choral Society host a Come and Sing Workshop at the Acorn Centre on Saturday, March 18 from 10am - 5.30pm.

Tickets priced £17 with a public performance at 4pm.

Inverurie - West Church Hall host a Spring Afternoon tea from 2pm - 4pm -entry £4 adult/£2 child.

Aberdeen - Comic Con North East takes place on Saturday(Sold Out) and Sunday at the P&J Live - tickets are still available from https://www.comicconscotlandnortheast.co.uk/
