Your weekly round-up of events taking place across the north-east.

Upcoming events this weekend are subject to weather conditions - so please check with organisers.

Collieston - Got unused seed packets lying around that you are unlikely to plant? Bring them along to the seed exchange in Collieston.

If you fancy trying something new, come and see what you can find. There will be Seed potatoes available from One Seed Forward and composting with worms advice from Newburgh Worms.

Collieston Community Centre, Sunday March 12 1.30pm - 3.30pm.

Turriff - Friends of the Den are hosting a free event for all ages at the Haughs on Saturday, March 11 at 1pm. Come along and pot your own wildflower for pollinators, take it home to grow, and then plant it wherever you want - whether at home, in the Den or anywhere you fancy! Children to be accompanied by an adult. Please text 07967 341591 to book.

Insch - Family Quiz Night at the BLC at 7pm. Tickets £3 Adults, £2 child max teams of four and can be purchased on the door.

Turriff - The Connecting with Communities mobile food van will be back in Turriff next Wednesday, March 15 in the St Andrew’s Church car park from 11am-12pm.

Alvah - Bond - an unauthorised pardoy staring Gavin Roberston sees someone out to get Bond as he faces his greatest nemisis, his own creator at Alvah Parish Hall, Thursday, March 16 at 7.30pm. Tickets from www.neatshows.org.uk.

Turriff - The Legion host a coffee morning for the North-east branch of the Gordon Highlanders Association from 10am - noon. Entry £3 adult £1 children.

Turriff - Turriff Bowling Club host a Soup and Sweet at the club on Saturday, March 11 from noon- 2pm. Entry £5.

Inverurie - Inverurie Pride at the Town Hall from 1-5pm on Saturday, March 11 - there will be live music throughout, charity advice/info and a kids area. More info from grampianpride.org

Gartly - CUA play the Tin Hut on Saturday, March 11 at 8pm. Tickets priced £12 from Orb Bookshop, Huntly.

Ellon - Ellon and District Historical Society present a talk with Prof Gordon Noble at Ellon Legion (Victoria Hall) on Tuesday, March 14 at 7.30pm on his latest book, Picts Scourge of the North. Tickets priced £3.

Longhaven - MSP Gillian Martin will host an Advice Surgery at Longhaven Community Hall on Saturday 11am - 12pm. If you have any constituency issues you think she could help you with then please drop by.

Kemnay - Inverurie and Alford Cats Protection will hold a sale at Kemnay Village Hall on Saturday, March 11 from 2pm-4pm. Entry is £1 or donation of cat food.

Monymusk - Film at Monymusk has a change of date from March 11 to Saturday 18. Because the DVD of 'Living', the film starring Bill Nighy, is not being released to the public until March 14, they not be showing any film on March 11 but will be screening 'Living' on Saturday March 18 as usual, doors open 7pm and film starts at 7.30pm.

Inverurie - Inspire By Inverurie is at the Hopeville Social Club for a fashion show on Friday, March 17.

Turriff - Turriff Rotary are hosting a Tractor Pulling fun night at the Kastile on Saturday, March 11 at 7.30pm. tickets priced £10 include stovies from 07977 067788.
