The booking system is now open and customers can book a slot online via https://www.livelifeaberdeenshire.org.uk/libraries/click-and-collect/

Alternatively, customers can call the Live Life Aberdeenshire phoneline on 01467 532929 (Mon-Fri) or use the live Chat function to speak to a member of the team who will record your requirements and book a slot for collection.

The service is not limited to books – customers will also be able to collect hearing aid batteries from the NHS, food waste caddy liners, battery recycling bags and photocopying.

Prior to the most recent lockdown in Jan 2021, Click & Collect services were hugely popular within local communities.

Libraries and Information services manager, Sharon Jamieson, has praised library staff for “their dedication to support customers with this bespoke and personalised service which has been a lifeline during the Pandemic, and we are delighted to be able to return it to operation”.

While Live Life Aberdeenshire’s digital library services have been very well used during lockdown, there has been great demand for increased access to materials only available in libraries.
