Banff Castle event showcases classic cars and vehicles





Classic vehicle enthusiasts braved the wet weather on Sunday for a showcase at Banff Castle.

The event had a line-up of vintage vehicles, classic cars and much-loved motors, attracting people from across the region.

There was a variety of vehicles on display which included classic cars like a 1936 Morris 8 Tourer, a bright Mini van and an impressive Pontiac Catalina.

There were more modern models from manufacturers including Jaguar, Subaru, Toyota and there was an area dedicated to Ford.

There were also motorcycles and vintage tractors on display.

Alongside the vehicles, there were stalls and the Castle Garden Café was open.

New for 2025 was Mini Motors: A Nostalgic Toy Vehicle Showroom where a display of vintage toy vehicles is located above the café.

The display will remain in place until Saturday, August 2, and will be open Tuesday to Saturday, 1.30pm to 4pm. Lift access is available at the rear of the café.
