Banff Parish Church Friendship Group celebrated the life and work of Scottish bard Robert Burns.

At their recent meeting members were entertained by the choir of King Edward Church accompanied by Steven Pratt on the piano.

The programme comprised a selection of Burns and Scottish songs and poetry to mark the Bard's birth.

The group is open to church members and the public and everyone is welcome to attend the sessions.

They are held in the church hall and there is opportunity to have a chat and enjoy food.

The aim of the group is primarily to meet others, spend time together and offer friendship.

At each meeting an activity is provided or a speaker present.

For more information on the group contact the church.
