Charges brought after Inverurie drug search

Officers across the north-east continually and proactively work to stop the illegal supply of controlled drugs across our communities.

On Wednesday officers conducted a drug search warrant at an address at Middle Park, Inverurie and recovered both heroin and cannabis, with a combined estimated value of £500.

A 44-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection, he is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court at a later date.

Police in the area also arrested and charged a 21-year-old man in connection to a separate incident whereby the search of a vehicle recovered an estimated £1800 of cocaine.

The man is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court at a later date.
