Charges brought after £100,000 of damage to cars at north-east dealership

A 35-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with causing extensive damage to a number of vehicles in Aberdeenshire.

Thirteen cars were damaged at a commercial premises on South Road, Fraserburgh, on Tuesday, March, 23.

The damage is believed to be in the region of £100,000.

The man is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court, today, Wednesday March 31.

Detective Constable Sean Horme, of Aberdeen CID, said: "I would like to thank the members of the public who assisted with our investigation.

"This type of behaviour and selfish disregard for property will not be tolerated in our communities.
