Fordyce Village Open Day will give people chance to explore community





A village is in final preparations for its annual summer extravaganza.

Fordyce Community Association’s Village Open Day will be held on Sunday, July 20.

There will be more than a dozen gardens open to be viewed in Fordyce.

The event is a chance for members of the public to explore the historic community.

There will be more than a dozen gardens open to be viewed.

There will also be various attractions and afternoon teas in the village hall served by the SWI.

The open day will feature crafts, a brass band, Books Abroad, Portsoy Ice Cream, Eden Plants, archery demonstration, coconut shy, kipper barbecue, burgers and bacon rolls.

Free parking will be available at the school.

All funds raised will go towards the upkeep of the village hall.
