Grants to assist vulnerable in Moray: Portgordon, Spey Bay, Clochan and Fochabers covered

Funds worth £7185 have been secured to help people in Portgordon, Spey Bay, Clochan and Fochabers through the coronavirus crisis.

Lennox Community Council has secured the cash from SSE North, the Corra Foundation and William Grant Distillers.

Pringle George, the community council's treasurer, said: "The money is for us to distribute in our area during the current Covid-19 crisis.

"These funds can be accessed and used by local groups and organisations who need financial help to support those individuals in our community who are most in need.

"The application forms are available now."
