IMAGES of a landmark hill throughout the year have been selected to appear in a new calendar.

The 2020 Bailies of Bennachie Calendar is now available and includes high-quality photographs for every season.

Trustees Harry Leil, Donna Taylor and Ann Baillie led the calendar project.

Ann said: "We asked people to send in photographs for inclusion in the calendar through our website and Facebook pages.

"The standard was very high with some professional photographers being willing to submit their pictures to support the Bailies.

"It was a difficult to narrow the selection to 12 but we are delighted with the results."

A highlight is the December photo where John Stoddard has managed to capture the Northern Lights playing behind the Bennachie range.

Ann added: "At the back of the calendar is a picture of Bennachie Bosie in June, when 400 people formed a ring round Mither Tap having climbed up from the Back of Bennachie car park near Oyne. This would make a lovely memento for those who took part."

The calendar is for sale for £5.50 including postage from https://www.bailiesofbennachie.co.uk/shop and is in many shops in the area.

The Bailies of Bennachie are a volunteer conservation charity and all profits from the calendar will go to help their activities.
