Scottish Water set for multiple roadworks in Buckie area over week ahead
Scottish Water are set to be working at a number of sites in the local area during the coming week.
In Portknockie, the firm will be at two locations.
Outside 38 Admiralty Street they will be repairing broken hit and miss paving on the footway caused by vehicles crossing t to access a driveway. This is due to start on October 27-28 for three working days.
Up the road at 4 Findlater Avenue, work to replace a boundary box should be completed by Wednesday.
In a similar timeframe, the replacement of a stop cock for a boundary box is due to finish at 12 Stuart Street, Buckie.
Also in the town, Scottish Water aim to start replacement of a broken toby at 8 Cliff Terrace by Tuesday, lasting an estimated three working days.
Finally, the company will be outside 14 Cluny Lane in Buckie to replace hit and miss paving on the footway, starting October 27-28 for three working days.
Openreach and BT are pencilled in for a number of locations this coming week in Findochty and Buckie. In the former place, outside 8 Firth View, excavation work is scheduled to be completed by Wednesday, the same being the case for 6 Archibald Grove in Buckie.
Start dates of Monday or Tuesday are in place for 21 Douglas Crescent and 10 Greenlaw Lane in Buckie, with the estimated duration three working days.
The installation of a new cabinet near 1 Binview Terrace, Enzie should be rounded off by November 10 at the latest.
Rival communications firm Vodafone are due to begin work outside Buckie police station on East Church Street on Thursday for two working days and also at a site near Linzee Gordon Park at some point between October 30 and November 3 for two working days.
