Turriff Deveron Bridge inspection to cause disruption for drivers





An inspection of a bridge is set to cause disruption for drivers.

Aberdeenshire Council will be undertaking an inspection of Deveron Bridge, Turriff, on Thursday, June 12 between 9.30am and noon.

A local authority spokesperson said: “Access will be provided for emergency services and vehicles requiring access to immediate properties only.

“Owing to the requirement that a diversion must use roads which are the same class as the one that is closed, the recommended detour is via the B9025 (Aberchirder), A97 (Huntly), B9001 (Inverurie), B9024 (Turriff), Queen’s Road and the B9025 (Aberchirder).

“We appreciate that working on roads can cause some inconvenience to users, but we would ask that you bear with us as we carry out these essential improvements.”
