Moray school firearms threat prompts large police presence in Forres





A large police presence is responding to a reported firearms threat to three Moray schools.

Grampian Online understands that Anderson’s Primary School, Applegrove Primary School and Forres Academy were among the targets of the threat issued by email.

The threat was made to Moray schools.

It is also understood that schools within the Highland council area are also among the targets.

Police Scotland, Moray Council and Highland Council have been contacted for comment.
