Police make arrest following break-in at Royal British Legion in Buckie

A 24-year-old woman will appear in court later today following an alleged break-in at the Royal Legion in Buckie.

The alarm was raised in the early hours of yesterday morning at the club.

The woman is due to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court which is the venue for all legal cases from Moray at the present time.

A police spokeswoman said: “Police Scotland was made aware of a break-in at premises on the High Street in Buckie around 4.35am on Monday.

"A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal."
