Boyndie porridge company to feature on BBC Radio 2 breakfast show

A Boyndie firm will be featured on BBC Radio 2 on Tuesday morning when it will chat all things porridge with breakfast show host Dermot O'Leary.

A huge porridge fan, the presenter will learn how Hamlyn's of Scotland produce it at its Banffshire mill.

Managing director Alan Meikle, from Whitehills, will by talking to the host, who is standing in for usual presenter Zoe Ball this week.

The company said on its social media pages: "Dermot O'Leary is a huge porridge fan, and we're delighted that our managing director, Alan Meikle, will be joining Dermot on the Radio 2 breakfast show around 7.40am tomorrow morning to talk about how we make porridge at our mill in Boyndie."
