A club spokesman said: "In an informative and humorous talk, with PowerPoint presentation, she told of how her numerous books for children of all ages start with an idea of a story with her own illustrations,

"She then detailed the process through the many rewrites and changes, until it reaches the publisher and finally the bookshop shelves.

"Some of her books have even been translated into French, Russian and other languages."

This was the group's last formal meeting for this session and it will meet again on Wednesday, September 7.

Meantime the members will have a social meal together on Wednesday, May 25, in the Town and County Club.
