Banff archery club firing again

An archery club in Banff is calling for folk to come along and have a go at the sport for free.

Deveron Archers meet from 7pm-9pm on Friday evenings in the sports centre on Bellevue Road.

Rhoda Ross, the club's secretary, said: "No experience is required.

"All the equipment is provided and the first night is completely free.

"We're a very social club with a wide range of ages amongst the members.

"There are people here who compete for medals in competitions, and there are people who doing it just for fun."

The minimum age for anyone coming along is eight.

Social distance measures are in place inside the hall.
