SAINT Congan's Episcopal Church has welcomed a boost of more than £2150 after a successful annual fundraiser.

The church held their annual fundraising autumn fair in Turriff Legion.

This boasted various stalls as well as the opportunity for visitors to enjoy their fly cup and a catch up with friends.

The event was very well attended and volunteers were kept busy throughout the morning, with the final total going towards the Church and other charitable activities which St Congan’s is involved with.

On Sunday the church held its harvest thanksgiving service which saw them welcome talented visitors of all ages to perform musical interludes.

This was also well supported and all of the food donations collected at the service have been passed on to Turriff Food Bank to benefit local people.

Following the service the congregation came together for a soup and sweet social event which was enjoyed by all.

Throughout October members of the church are welcoming Reverend Canon John Bolton from the USA who has been supporting them in their various activities and will continue to do so into early November.

David Henson said: “We would like to thank all those who supported both events, and made the occasions a success.”
