A New Deer petting farm has made a renewed appeal to trace a wallaby which escaped from its site earlier this week.

Waulkmill Menagerie has urged local residents to be on the lookout for the animal named Eddie.

Eddie and his brother Edward arrived at the farm on Sunday evening but, the young animal managed to give his new owners the slip on Monday and has been seen at various locations.

This included a sighting on Tuesday in the early hours next to the Howe pub in New Deer, a spotting on Friday morning at New Byth and the latest at the Drum of Wartle garage on the B9001 in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A sightings can contact 07983 556389 to provide an update to owner Nikki Johnstone.
