Appeal after holiday home theft

The Fraserburgh Community Policing Team are appealing for witnesses following a Theft by Housebreaking whereby a quantity of white goods were stolen from a holiday home in Newseat, Tyrie near Fraserburgh.

The incident occurred sometime between Sunday, December 6 and Sunday, December 20.

Enquiries into the incident are still ongoing and officers urge anyone who has any information or who may have been in the area during these dates and saw anything suspicious to contact Police.

They would also like to take this opportunity to remind property owners make sure that their property and vehicles are secured as thoroughly as possible and do not leave valuable items unattended or in plain sight.

It is worth considering security cameras or lights which may act as a suitable deterrent against thieves.
