Appeal after further fire raising incident near Alford

Police are appealing for information about a fire raising incident where bales of hay were set alight, the third time that this has happened in recent weeks .

The latest incident happened on the A944 Alford to Whitehouse road about 11.45pm on Friday, October 2.

The fire was extinguished by Scottish Fire and Rescue an no one was injured.

Constable Harvey Freeman, Huntly community policing team, said "We're appealing for anyone with information about the fire to come forward and help us with our enquiries".
