A most stimulating travelling talk by Fellow in Anthropology at Aberdeen university, Kirsty Kernohan, took her audience to the Antipodean adventures of the Keith-Falconer family of Keithhall, Inverurie at the most recent meeting of the Garioch Heritage Society, held at the Loco Works.

In the 19th and early 20the century members of the family travelled extensively in Australia and New Zealand and also Asia bringing back fascinating ethnic artefacts which became the Keithhall museum.

Kirsty's lively talk was illustrated with photographs of the family, Aboriginal artefacts and Asian musical instruments.

The vote of thanks was given by Joan Bruce.
