Aberdeenshire Council has advised locals that the B992 between Auchterless U34S and C34S will be subject to a closure from January 11 for three days and January 20 for three days to allow safe access for carriageway box building on behalf of Openreach.

Temporary traffic lights will be in operation between these dates.

A signed diversion will be via the B9001 (Forgue), B9024 (Turriff), A947 (Fyvie) and B992 and vice versa.

A planned road closure will lead to the road out of Aucterless being closed.

Openreach works in Rothienorman mean it will also be necessary for a no waiting order to be in place on Main Street, Fyvie Road, Fraser Court and Rothie Park from a distance of 50 metres from the junction for three days commencing January 13 between 9,30am and 3.30pm.

Site notices will be erected in due course indicating the temporary restriction to traffic and the alternative routes where applicable.
