Foodbank calls on community support as they continue to help the Aberdeenshire residents most in need.

Aberdeenshire North Foodbank has shared a list of the items they are most in need of to allow them to fully support families and individuals in crisis.

While the food bank says it currently had a good supply of pasta, soup, beans and tea bags, they are desperately seeking donations of the following items:

Any donations will be greatfully received at the following collection points:

Aberdeenshire North Foodbank have now teamed up with the Turriff Emergency Food Parcel Provision Group to maximise the level of support available to those in need in the Turriff area.

Anybody who feels that they require an emergency food parcel should speak to their support worker or a local organisation like Citizen's Advice Bureau to be referred.

Emergency food parcels will be delivered in a non-contact manner to comply with government guidelines.

Furthermore, to help with the smooth running of Aberdeenshire North Foodbank the organisation are currently looking to take on a foodbank administratr.

This would be a varied role but duties could include: co-ordinating the delivery of food parcels, compiling reports, taking minutes, responding to enquiries and supporting managers and volunteers.

This will be a one year contract for nine hours over two or three days a week, and is intended to be worked during traditional working hours mostly from home.
