As a result of new energy tariffs, Aberdeenshire Council are introducing new charges to our electric vehicle charging points from July 1.

The new rate will rise from 21p to 24p per kWh.

A spokesperson said: "Our chargers form part of the Charge Place Scotland network and we’re working closely with them to resolve any issues with EV points across the region.

"Unfortunately, owing to supply chain issues, it is sometimes taking time to repair and improve the chargers, but you can continue to make us aware of any issues by reporting them via https://www.aberdeenshire.gov.uk/roads-and-travel/transportation/electric-vehicle-chargers/"
