999 problems within Moray

Police Scotland says it has been advised by BT of problems in Moray affecting landlines – including the 999 service.

A spokesperson said: "Anyone requiring emergency services should use a mobile phone.

"Officers will continue to patrol the local area and BT is working to resolve the issue.

"We will update the situation in due course."
