Keith store set for Christmas closure

A POPULAR Keith shop will be closing this Christmas.
The Original Factory Shop, which is located on Union Street, will close for the last time on December 24.
A spokesman for the company confirmed the closure and said that all of the nine employees have been informed of the situation.
The store’s stock will be at a reduced price until the shop shuts its doors.
The spokesman said: “It’s a great disappointment to have been served notice on this store.
“We tried really hard to come to a suitable agreement with the landlord; especially as this is a store that has been performing well and where we are proud to play an integral part in the community.”
The Keith store, which opened in late 2010, is one of a number of shops that the company are set to close throughout the UK. It will mean that the nearest Original Factory Shop available for people in Keith will be located in Buckie.
