RESIDENTS at a Keith care home have taken a minute to thank firefighters who are continuing to work amid the coronavirus pandemic.

On Thursday night at 8pm, as the UK-wide clap for carers trend entered its fifth week, firefighters from the Keith and Fochabers team stopped by Glenisla Care Home and were met with huge applause by those inside the home.

Five firefighters placed a hose in the shape of a love heart outside the home, while Glenisla staff were also thanked by the families of residents, with a banner reading "thank you Glenisla staff for taking such good care of our loved ones" on show.
