IF you love whisky, we have a super competition with a trio of award-winning Glenfiddich whiskies to be won.
Glenfiddich whiskies scored a hat-trick of awards from the judges at this year’s Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival.
The Banffshire Herald has teamed up with the family-owned distillery to give one lucky reader the chance to kick-start their own whisky collection by winning a 70cl bottle of each of the three top drams: Glenfiddich 12 Year Old, Glenfiddich 18 Year Old and Glenfiddich 21 Year Old.
Matured in different types of cask, each of these whiskies has a unique and distinctive flavour. They have proved a hit not only with the Spirit of Speyside judging panel but also with experts around the globe – resulting in Glenfiddich being recognised as the world’s most awarded single malt.
Peter van Peborgh Gooch from the Glenfiddich Distillery said: "We are exceptionally proud of our whiskies which are all handcrafted here in Dufftown using traditional whisky-making techniques and skills.
"The Grant family founded this distillery 130 years ago and their pioneering spirit and commitment to quality has resulted in an incredible range of single of malts. In the Spirit of Speyside whisky awards our whiskies stood out from the crowd and the winner of this prize will have the pleasure of discovering just how special they are."
