A NATIONAL discount retailer will open in Keith this weekend, bringing 12 new jobs to the Moray town.
Bargain Buys has taken over the unit formerly occupied by the Original Factory Shop on the town's Union Street.
This Saturday, it will open its doors to the public following a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10am. A Fun Day will follow, with entertainment from Dene Michael – Mr Agadoo – as well as games and prize giveaways.
That includes special deals for those first in the queue.
Executive chairman Nadir Lalani said: "We are pleased to be opening a Bargain Buys store for the people of Keith with loads of fantastic branded products, all at bargain prices, and look forward to opening even more new stores throughout the rest of 2019.
"The team is working hard to deliver an outstanding shopping experience, great service, and an enjoyable shopping environment for all our new customers.
"We are expecting massive queues for our Opening Day Only Specials, so come early to catch the bargains!"
Keith is the 79th Bargain Buys to open, with more locations coming between now and the end of 2019.
The chain offers a range of items from groceries and toiletries to kitchenware, bedding, bathroom products, furniture, and children’s toys.
Further details for the opening are available on the chain's Facebook page.
