DOG owners who want to learn the skills to help their pet in an emergency can undertake a dog first aid demonstration in Inverurie this Saturday (November 30).

The North East Pet Expo runs from 11am until 3pm at the Thainstone Exchange.

Experts will be on hand to give advice about how to keep your dog safe, from the basics of checking their vital signs, to how to deal with bleeding, choking, burns and also a chance to practice the latest CPR techniques.

The multi-award winning courses were launched earlier this year and have already proved popular with both dog owners and those working with dogs.

Courses are running until Saturday, December 7 and a full programme is already scheduled for 2020.

Tickets are available from www.eventbrite.co.uk.

For more information about Dog First Aid or to book a course, email: info@dog-first-aid.com, or call 0800 999 6632.
