Artist Jennifer Hogwood drew an appreciative crowd to Galleryi in Inverurie during a recent visit.

She is best known for her delightful McMoos paintings featuring her impressions of Highland cattle.

Commenting, she said: “I got my inspiration from visiting the Royal Highland Show.”

Using a combination of acrylic and crystals, she also paints almost fairytale-like hares and other animals she admires and also takes commissions for pets.

During her visit, she was kept busy personalising paintings with messages for satisfied customers.
