The Ythan Singers will bring their annual Christmas concert to Inverurie on Friday, December 13.

The performance, which will take place in St Andrew's Church from 7.30pm, will feature a selection of festive favourites including In The Bleak Mid Winter, The Holly And The Ivy and Away In A Manger, all arranged by the group's own Frances Lamb.

The concert is packed with many well-known and beautiful carols.

These include Chris Rice's Welcome To Our World sung by St Andrew's' interim moderator Sheila Craggs and Fantasia On Christmas Carols.

There will also be the opportunity for the audience to join in with well-known carols.

The Ythan Singers' musical director, Morag Simpson, will conduct the concert and the accompanist is Rosemary Lund, who has been with the choir since its start in 1980.

All are very welcome to come along to the performance.

There will be a collection on the door for the Trussell Trust in Scotland, an organisation which supports many of the country's food banks in supporting people in crisis.

After the concert, everyone is welcome to join the singers for refreshments and a fine piece.
