Aberdeenshire’s Registration Week for Primary 1 admission will take place from Monday, January 13 to Friday 17 and parents within Inverurie are being reminded about the new catchment zones for the three primary schools.
All children who reach their fifth birthday by February 28, 2021 are invited to register for Primary 1 for admission in August 2020.
Parents/carers are asked to visit the primary school of their choice during Registration Week.
If this is not possible, please try to visit/contact the school by the end of February 2020.
New catchment areas are now coming into place for schools in Inverurie and these will apply for those applying to start Primary 1 in August 2020.
Following extensive consultation, the Inverurie rezoning was approved by Education and Children’s Services Committee on December 5.
