Police to visit scene in search for missing Marian Pavel

ONE week on from when Marian Pavel (45), was last seen officers will be revisiting the area in Huntly in the hope of jogging people’s memories.
Marian, who is Romanian, was last seen at around 7.30pm on Wednesday,
Extensive searches have been carried out in the vicinity of the factory but there has been no trace of Marian or his belongings.
Between around 6.30pm and 8.30pm tomorrow, Wednesday, February 27 officers will be in the area and will speak to people who live and work there with the hope that they may be able to provide new information.
Inspector Matt Smith said: “It is hoped by revisiting the area where Marian was last seen we will be able to speak to people who were in the area last week and may have seen him.
"I would urge anyone who has any information to speak to any officer or to contact us on 101 using reference number 4314 of February 20.”
Marian is described as being around 6ft 2 tall with brown hair which is shaved at the sides and usually pulled back in a ponytail.
He also has a scar on his right cheek. When he was last seen he was wearing a dark blue pullover, grey woolly hat, blue jeans and black shoes.
